How the evening works
- Turn up when you like. Come at the start or drop in later. Leave when you need to.
- Join a table. Two-player games, eight-player games, games you already know and games someone will teach you.
- Collect points. 40 for coming, then 25, 10 and 5 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each game (short games count as a match of 3 rounds or more; what counts). The scorekeeper records it on a phone; you don't fill anything in.
- Watch the standings. There's a player of the month and a player of the season. A season is 12 months, from 1 June to 31 May.
